English Springer Spaniels are known to be a cheerful, loyal and energetic breed. The English Springer Spaniels is an intelligent dog and loves to be part of the action. They are a very affectionate, outgoing and playful breed, making them great for families with children and they generally get along well with other dogs, given they have been well socialised as a puppy. 

English Springer Spaniel Grooming:

English Springer Spaniels will generally suffice with a couple of brushes a week; as they are an average shedder, brushing with a deshedding brush is highly recommended. During the summer especially, a clip is recommended every 6-8 weeks. Like all dog breeds with floppy ears, English Springer Spaniels need to have their ears properly dried after their bath, and regularly checked to avoid infections.

English Springer Spaniel Exercise Requirements:

English Springer Spaniels have a high energy level, so will require a walk every day. If they are well socialised and outgoing, it is also a good idea to take them to parks or other pet friendly areas, where they can interact with other dogs and people and spend their energy.
