Thinking About Becoming a Foster Carer?
Foster carers play a vital role in helping former racing dogs make the transition from racer to life as a pampered pet. By providing a home for a greyhound for just 6 weeks you will be giving a greyhound the best start to the rest of its long and happy life.
Foster caring is a very rewarding experience for both the greyhound and its carers. Over the 6 weeks you will play a critical role in helping the greyhound to begin to adapt to life as a pet. It is amazing to be part of this experience.
If you are interested in becoming a foster carer, come along to our
GAP Foster Care Information Workshop on Saturday, October 27 between 1pm - 4pm.
Book your FREE tickets here.
It will be a great opportunity for new and existing foster carers to learn more about the wonderful experience of fostering a greyhound and the interesting challenges it can present.
Education, problem solving and support are at the core of this session which will be interactive, informative and fun. There will be a chance for interacting with some greyhounds, learning from experienced GAP foster carers and staff, goodie bags and light refreshments.
