Welcome to the iFetch Too for Large Dogs!
The iFetch Too is an interactive, automatic tennis ball thrower for large dogs that provides fun to help aid bored dog symptoms for medium and large dogs and owners together.
- Perfect for indoor or outdoor use.
- Excellent bored dog toys.
- 3 x iFetch Too balls.
- 1 x charger for the internal rechargeable battery.
- Automatically launches the ball 10, 25, or 40 feet so your dog has plenty of distance to fetch the ball. It's easy to switch between those three distances or select the variable setting to keep your pup guessing.
- The iFetch Too "Tuff" balls are 2.5 inches in diameter. They are felted like tennis balls, but made for dogs and are non-abrasive on their teeth.
- Standard tennis balls work great, and any ball about that size should work.
- The iFetch Too comes with a built-in, rechargeable battery for portability.
- When you purchase the iFetch Too automatic ball thrower for large dogs, it comes with three tennis balls and an AC charger suitable for Australia.

How is the iFetch Too powered?
The iFetch Too available in Australia has an internal rechargeable battery that charges in 2-8 hours.
Which size is best for my dog, the iFetch or the iFetch Too?
This depends on each individual dog. We say that the iFetch is for small to medium breeds and the iFetch Too is for medium to large breeds, however we have seen large dogs use the iFetch and small dogs use the iFetch Too. Either iFetch is great to help a bored dog while at work.
In order to figure out which size is best for your dog, we recommend you purchase a ball that is 1.5″ diameter and a standard size tennis ball (~2.5″ diameter) and test each one with your dog. If your dog prefers the 1.5″ diameter ball, then the iFetch will work fine. If your dog prefers the 2.5″ ball, then the iFetch Too is a better option.
Another thing to consider is the launch distance. If you intend to play with the product outdoors and launch it as far as possible, the iFetch Too is probably the best option due to its launch distance of 40 feet. It also has a rechargeable battery, unlike the iFetch, which has to either be plugged in or runs on 6 C batteries.
How do I start using the iFetch Too?
To start training your dog to use the iFetch Too, you will first need to charge the rechargeable internal battery before getting started. Plug the iFetch Too into the wall using the charger that comes with it. The light on the charger will turn green when it is charged and ready to go (can take anywhere from 2-8 hours to fully charge). The iFetch Too is portable once it is charged, can be unplugged and moved wherever you like. Press the power button on the back, select a distance setting (adjusting the safety switch so the red is visible in order to launch further than 10 feet) and select 10, 25 or 40 feet, or a random setting, which will randomly select a launch distance each time the ball is dropped in. Enjoy playtime!
Dog Training Tips for the iFetch Too Automatic Ball Launcher
When you start teaching your dog how to play fetch, make sure you train near the iFetch so that your dog can connect the dots between fetch and the iFetch.
Train with the iFetch at most three times a day and only for ten minutes at a time. That way fetch stays fun and doesn’t become fetch bootcamp.
If you feel like your dog is getting frustrated and is unable to get the ball into the iFetch , then just work on reinforcing any behavior toward the iFetch and make sure your dog gets rewarded.
If your dog attempts to get the reward via other behaviors (e.g. rolling over, jumping up, shaking paws, etc.), it’s important that you NOT reward these behaviors.
If your dog is cautious around the iFetch at first, that’s okay. The iFetch is new and different and he’s probably not sure what it is. You can start by rewarding him for just going near the iFetch. This way he learns that the iFetch is just another part of the house. With a little time, you can use treats to bring him closer to the iFetch, teaching him to drop the ball as close to the iFetch as possible. After a few training sessions (results may vary) your dog will learn to trust the iFetch and then it will be playtime.
What size tennis balls does the iFetch Too Dog Toy use?
The iFetch Too uses standard size tennis balls. The iFetch Too balls that are included with each iFetch Too measure 2.5″ in diameter, however the iFetch Too will work with any ball measuring 2.4″-2.7″ in diameter.
How far does the iFetch Too throw the ball?
The iFetch Too has three launch distance settings, 10 feet, 25 feet, or 40 feet, and a fourth option for a random launch distance setting. To set the launch distance, all you have to do is press the button the back to cycle through the settings (switching the safety switch to red if you want to launch further than 10 feet). The light will turn off after 30 seconds, but the iFetch Too will remain on (in standby mode) until you drop another ball in the funnel.
