How to claim on your lifetime rehoming policy.

1. Contact our team
If you find yourself in a situation where you can no longer keep your puppy or dog, don't hesitate to reach out to our dedicated team at 02 9629 3282. We're here to provide guidance and assistance every step of the way. 

2. Health check
Our priority is the well-being of your animal companion. In some cases, our manager may request a health check to ensure that your pet is healthy and ready to be rehomed. This ensures that we identify the ideal fit for your pet’s requirements, while also safeguarding both Kellyville Pets and the prospective new owner from inheriting any existing medical expenses. 

3. Minimising stress
We understand that rehoming can be a stressful experience for both you and your pet. That’s why we strive to rehome your pet while they are still in your care, minimising the disruption and anxiety they may experience. 

4. Microchip transfer (dogs only), license and registration (reptiles and birds only)
To ensure the safety and security of your pet, we require the transfer of the microchip or registration to Kellyville Pets on the day of rehoming. This helps us keep track of their welfare and provides valuable information to their new family.

5. Behavioural issues
It's essential to declare any behavioural issues or special considerations about your pet. This ensures that we can find the most suitable environment for their unique needs and provide any necessary support or training.
