Black Soldier Fly Larvae are one of the most nutritious live insects commercially available. These grubs contain comparatively high levels of protein and calcium, are easily digestible and low in bad fats. It is recommended that Black Soldier Fly Larvae are fed as the primary protein source for your insectivorous reptile!

Poultry enjoy a varied diet and often eat grubs and insects. Black Soldier Fly Larvae make a perfect addition and protein boost to your Chicken's diet, allowing them to mimic natural behaviour by foraging for grubs.

Due to the perishable nature of live feed:

• All live feed must be brought inside immediately upon delivery.
• Storage conditions are the responsibility of the customer.
• Black Soldier Fly Larvae must be stored at 10–15°C.
• Natural lifecycle progression (darkening, pupation, morphing into flies) is not considered a product fault.
• We do not replace live feed that has transitioned due to temperature or storage conditions.
• Note: Black Soldier Fly larvae are temperature-sensitive. During transport, a small number may begin transitioning to the pupal or fly stage; this is a natural process and does not affect their nutritional value.
• Claims must be made within 24 hours of delivery with photo evidence.

If flies do emerge, they are still completely safe and suitable to feed to your pet.
