Just like a proper diet, correct temperature ranges, UVB lighting and various other factors, providing the correct relative air humidity is vital for the proper care and maintenance of captive reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates.
To maintain a proper humidity level in a well ventilated terrarium, you will need to use a fogger of humidifier. Spraying or misting is perfect to provide water droplets as drinking water, but will only increase the relative humidity for a short while.
