The Exo Terra canned foods are a convenient way to feed insects. These insects (and snails) have been cooked in the can to maintain nutritional value, flavour and aroma. It also softens the exoskeleton of the insects for easier digestion and breaks the bonds between the collagen protein to make it absorbable by reptiles. Collagen is an important fibre that aids in building bone, cartilage, skin and claw structures.

"My beardie Nuggest loves these. I was not expecting him to like them so much as they are pre-cooked but he goes wild for them! There is a plastic lid you can pop on after you've opened your can and put it in the fridge. They don't smell overly powerful, just don't sniff them too closely haha. You get 10 very small live silkworms for $13 which struggle a bit if you can't give them fresh mulberry leaves, or $11 for about 20-25 of these more chunky guys which last much longer. One of the only non-live feeders that I'm happy with."
