AP Naturals Honeycomb Wood Medium is a naturally formed piece of aquarium driftwood with a distinctive porous, honeycomb-like texture. Its interesting shape adds structure and character to aquascapes while creating natural hiding places and shelter for fish and invertebrates.

Suitable for freshwater and most established mature saltwater aquariums, Honeycomb Wood may release tannins into the water. Soaking or boiling the wood before use is recommended to remove loose debris, reduce its initial tannin release and encourage it to sink.

Preparation

Soak or boil the wood before placing it in your aquarium. This helps remove loose debris, reduce the initial release of tannins and encourage the wood to sink.

As this is a natural product, every piece will vary in size, shape, colour and branching pattern. Tannins may temporarily discolour aquarium water. The product images are examples only, and the piece you receive will be unique.

We recommend thoroughly rinsing and soaking driftwood before adding it to your aquarium. Natural driftwood may initially release tannins and may float until it becomes fully waterlogged.

Our aim is to process orders as quickly as possible and most orders will leave our warehouse within 2 business days. Some circumstances however may delay the dispatch of your order. Items over 1 metre in length are sent with alternative couriers and dispatch will depend on driver availability.
