AP Naturals Malaysian Driftwood Medium is a classic aquascaping wood known for its rich, dark brown to almost black colouring. Available in a variety of naturally formed shapes, each piece adds structure, contrast and a natural focal point to your aquarium.

Suitable for freshwater and most established mature saltwater aquariums, Malaysian Driftwood works well in aquascapes ranging from simple layouts to densely planted designs. It may release tannins into the water, so soaking or boiling before use is recommended.

Preparation

Soak or boil the driftwood before adding it to your aquarium. This helps remove loose debris, reduce the initial release of tannins and encourage the wood to sink.

Please Note

As this is a natural product, each piece will vary in size, shape, colour and texture. Tannins may temporarily discolour aquarium water.

We recommend thoroughly rinsing and soaking driftwood before adding it to your aquarium. Natural driftwood may initially release tannins and may float until it becomes fully waterlogged.

Our aim is to process orders as quickly as possible and most orders will leave our warehouse within 2 business days. Some circumstances however may delay the dispatch of your order. Items over 1 metre in length are sent with alternative couriers and dispatch will depend on driver availability.
