Royal Canin Veterinary Cat Food Pouch Urinary S/O

Urinary S/O is formulated for the nutritional management of cats with lower urinary tract disease.

Idiopathic cystitis: Due to the high moisture content of wet food, Urinary S/O Feline increases urine dilution. As idiopathic cystitis accounts for nearly 64% of cases of FLUTD*, a wet diet should be preferred in cases of recurring cystitis.
Strubite dissolution: Helps dissolves struvite uroliths.
LOW RSS: Helps lower the concentration of ions contributing to crystal formation.
Urine dilution: Urine dilution makes the urine less liable to form struvite and calcium oxalate uroliths. The larger urinary volume also ensures regular bladder washout.

This product creates an unfavorable environment to the creation of calcium oxalate and struvite uroliths in the urine.
